Cosplay Feature: Laney Feni's Supergirl!

Photo by Maze Studio The last time I shared cosplayer Laney Feni, it was via her amazing Fem Aquaman cosplay she did a few years ago. Originally for today's piece I wanted to gush over how stellar she looks in her Post-Apocalyptic version of Supergirl but that led me to sharing with you another version that's more of the character's classic look. If you were to dive into her cosplay portfolio, Laney has definitely cosplayed Kara Zor-El numerous times but this version draws heavy inspiration in both the design and feel of the old Zack Snyder take on Superman. Between this classic design and the other variant I mentioned earlier, the only difference really boils down to pants and the cape's use. We'll get to that later of course! For starters, Kara's look here consists of a long sleeved tank top like piece and pants with the midriff being shown. I'm pretty sure that this is Laney's natural hair too which really is perfect for Supergirl!

STRUCK FIRST: Jenna Lynn Meowri as MJ Spider Man!

Struck First gives you a first look at a cosplay just as it's been debuted/had its first photoshoot. Cosplayers have been kind enough to let me have a first crack at analyzing the cosplay by providing me with brand new pictures.

I'm hoping by now it's apparent of my massive crush I have on cosplayer and booty queen Jenna Lynn Meowri. Especially if you guys follow me on my social media! What's been the rage lately in the cosplay world are the rad skin tight bodysuits done by Brandon Gilbert, so of course Jenna had to get her hands on one. If the top shot is any indication, she works it so hard. The suit in question is a print of Spider Man's signature uniform. Jenna added in the twist of making it as if Mary Jane were the web slinging jokester with the gorgeous red wig added in. This suit in particular has the spider symbol in white and smack dab in the middle. The red section eventually converges down in her lower areas.

Afterwards, the red takes the shape of underwear wrapping around the back. The suit as a whole has shadows implemented throughout which give off a professional look. The web lines are done in white also to match the symbol. I feel the comfort levels while wearing a suit by Brandon must be off the charts, but of course it most likely gets hot after long use of wear. Describing this cosplay is as standard/simple as it gets. However it's Jenna's posing ability and the photos that happened which really make the character come to life.

As I mentioned above, Jenna is rocking a long gorgeous red wig to symbolize that it's Mary Jane rocking the Spidey suit. Knowing her audience of course backside shots were taken and her figure as a whole is staggeringly gorgeous here. The cosplay was worn at DragonCon along with several other ladies rocking Spider Man related suits like StephBot as Spider Gwen. Hopefully the other pics I selected reinforce just how gorgeous Jenna looks in this!
