Cosplay Feature: Renee4Atlanta's Ironheart!

Happy Halloween to you all! To end this month of features, I wanted to share this INCREDIBLE work by Renee4Atlanta that she helped create and wore at this past Dragon*Con not too long ago. Coming off of Ironheart's debut series, Renee took on the task to recreate the updated look and man is it intense! When you look at the photos, you can first find that of course Renee has a more comfy layer of clothing which the armor pieces are layered on top. From the top, Renee has the iconic Iron Man helmet which is colored red for the outer shell and the mask being a shiny silver shade. From the photos I did find, I don't know if the mask can actually come down or if Renee made this to showcase an open look. Getting down to the rest, you can see how some of the armor is segmented off/layered. Red looks to make up a good chunk of the outer layer whereas the inner portions are silver.

Why She's my Favorite: Nicole Marie Jean!

I first met Nicole Marie Jean way back in 2013 at PAX East that year. Slowly she was starting to blow up in popularity thanks in part to her Raptor Faces, Lady Bane cosplay and other outfits. However, the past 2-3 years I've grown superbly close to her and she's definitely one of my strongest supporters. I felt the need especially recently to write something for her as a way of deeply thanking her for caring about me. Not to mention enjoying what I do here and with cosplay. Nicole for as long as I've known has dealt with lots struggles, some of which we've opened up to each other on a private matter. Not once has she strayed from being the kind hearted individual she's been since the day I met her. Sure it can be tough sometimes to talk with her in person since I do have star-struck feels with Nicole and many other cosplayers I've been lucky to meet.

I think with those conversations we've had, Nicole has taken a great interest in me and I'm just beside myself thinking again how lucky I am. Last month at Boston Comic Con we shared some nice moments together as she showed me off on her Snapchat while rocking her genderbend Soldier 76 from Overwatch. Speaking of which, I've dubbed Nicole as the queen of Genderbends since she's done so many and every single one is just genius <3.

These kinds of posts never are long in detail since I reach what I want to say in the near beginning of them. More so they're a collection of pics and memories I've created with the cosplayer in question. I can't thank Nicole enough for having me as a friend and reaffirm how genuine/loving she is as a person. Through the negativity she's dealt with in the past, Nicole has risen above it and to me only deserves happiness, as do all other cosplayers do. Enjoy guys <3

These should of course give you a glimpse at the kind of person Nicole Marie Jean is and how much she deserves all the support. Here's links to her various pages you can follow/support her at <3
