Cosplay Feature: Gray Oranges' Rikku!

Photo by David Ngo I won't ever shy away from writing about cosplays of Rikku's look from Final Fantasy X-2 and Gray Orange did a fantastic job portraying her in both the overall cosplay look PLUS the pose work. Of course I'll get to all that in due time but let's start at the top! It's certainly a cosplay worn for several events and I want to say I first saw this in the overall collection of MAGFest photos back in January of this year. I really love how the multiple braid strands are integrated into the blonde wig for starters. I can't tell if they're either part of the wig itself or the blue headband that's wrapped around. In any case, following this is a red scarf wrapped around Irini's neck before you then get to the yellow bikini top. Here, you can also see orange trim lines as part of the piece. Oh, I forgot to mention that the red scarf actually travels all the way down to her legs. These end points then transition to a yellow/orange gradient!

Small Business Shoutout: Lunar Wolf Treats!

Past posts like these have always been about clothing and/or pieces of gorgeous art you could hang on your wall. Who's hungry for some candy though? This month I'm happy to talk about the awesome individuals over at Lunar Wolf Treats! First glance I thought this was a cute name describing physical nerd swag that they'd have for sale. Nope, try a set of 3 gaming controllers all done up in chocolate :O. Chocolate and gummy treats seem to be their main outlet of offerings, a variety of the latter sweet seem to be done with the Star Wars theme in mind. If you ever wondered what the Death Star tasted like as a gummy, this is your best chance to find out. After the page jump, I'll have images of some personal favorites of mine while scrolling through their site!

Other items done in chocolate style include Han Solo frozen in Carbonite, pixelated hearts for Valentines Day, Doctor Who, and even a set of D20 dice! Besides the chocolate and gummies, Lunar Wolf also has a set of Soap done in D20 dice style and what's known as D20 Candles. These items are named after certain classes and colored in a variety of hues. The candle itself is a giant D20 dice that once melted, reveals a set of real metal dice that players can use for gaming.

Truthfully that's pretty much it when it comes to summing up the kind of products Lunar Wolf Treats has. If you've got a nerdy sweet tooth, definitely check these guys out! Here's some images of other items!
