Cosplay Feature: Kam C Cosplay's Cloud Strife!

Photo by Lightrift Photo Today, I have someone that I was planning to share a bit later but I thought why not shake things up a bit. Kam C Cosplay is someone who I found via a duo cosplay/shoot they did with Jess Blaze Cosplay (which I'll share later this month!) awhile back. I'm not entirely sure if both this and the duo cosplay were worn at the same weekend, but in any case it's a whole lot of Final Fantasy that you'll have to put up with for a bit :). Based on the background of one of the photos I have, Kam wore their Cloud Strife cosplay to Holiday Matsuri (HolMat as more widely known) during this past year--least I'm guessing based on the timestamps of the photos themselves. In comparison to Cloud's updated Remake trilogy design, I think this is more in-line with his classic PS1 era look. The base elements of the cosplay look relatively simple & comfy. Though I don't know how they fared in Florida's notorious humidity in December. You have a tur...

Cosplay Feature: Yaya Han's Batgirl!

The minute I found out that Yaya Han was creating Batgirl, I was overly excited to see the final result. Is my favoritism for DC showing? Sorry but this cosplay looks incredible! The armor definitely has that comic book look, hell even from a movie and the red/orange hair looks beautiful on her! The cowl was commissioned by sculptor Reevzfx (who makes awesome stuff by the way!) with everything else being handled by Yaya. Now most of the stuff I'm gonna mention about how this was constructed can be found on her Facebook page so it'll at least be shortened down so it's not completely long :). For starters, the armor was created with plastic and urethane rubber then painted with tons of black!

The under-suit was fashioned with pleather all patterned and the boot covers, gloves and cape were made with a matching material but all in a pretty gold color scheme!  The cape is black on the inside and according to Yaya, swooshes alot! The gauntlets were done with Worbla and foam and the gloves were created from scratch! Pretty much pleather was used on everything except the armor. The setting and poses Yaya makes in the pictures below are amazing and definitely fitting for Batgirl. This is definitely one cosplay I would love to see in person at a convention one day. Just look at those battle stances :D. Enjoy the pictures guys!
