Shutting One Door, Keeping others Open

UPDATED ON 8/20/21: Facebook, Patreon and Blog IG pages have been shutdown/discontinued As the COVID pandemic rages on and cons are even shutting down into 2021, it got me thinking on a drive home one night about how I'd feel with even coming back to blogging. When cons eventually do come back at some point. Truth be told, many of the posts and content I shared here could be transferred over to more discussions via my podcast CosplayBytes. I've been blogging my love for games, cons and cosplay for 7 years now and maybe it's time to say goodbye for now? My podcast has gotten me some incredible opportunities as a member of Press for conventions, and the rapid love I've had for streaming is also taking up a lot of time now. On top of multiple personal things on my end, I don't think I have the energy to keep this up even post COVID you know? The very first cosplay centered post I wrote was on Jessica Nigri's Deadpool, and since then it's spawned over 800 posts

Small Business Shoutout: Gametee!

I recently reviewed some Products from Gametee! You can read it here!

Gametee is a company based in the UK and holy smokes do they have some amazing products on display. Consistently I'd hear of their rad items through several Twitter peeps (Cosplayer/Content Creator Riirichan as an example), at first with the massive candle collection they have. To get more in-depth, the candles were the first thing that drew me in. All these candles are in cute decorative tins that many further use for small plants. Scent wise, the candles are all gaming related and one huge purpose is to add something calming for sessions whether it's gaming or spending time doing Dungeons and Dragons. Notable scents include Hyrulian Forest, Dragon Fire, Sea Salt Ice Cream and MANY other scents. With owning 3 of them, I only light them when I'm gaming on my Switch or reading comics.

Gametee isn't just about candles though. Various objects in the Homeware tab include mugs among other items. The t-shirt designs are highly designed with some awesome themes and topics. Some revolving around various D&D classes, others gaming related like towards Final Fantasy. I mentioned in my Review that one other item I have is the Finest Wallet and holy smokes the other designs are killer looking! Other items include a massive backpack adorned with the Triforce and tons of space to fill in!

As a company, Gametee stresses the amount of quality and care that go into their products. Twice now they've satisfied me with what I ordered and no doubt will I order from them again. Of course they're in the art print business too with some clever gaming prints done in the style of book covers among other designs. I've got a quick selection of some of their products that you all can look at down below!

Gametee is definitely a company you guys should check out if you're in the mood for even more geeky apparel. I promise you will NOT be disappointed! <3
