Cosplay Feature: Shiro Cos as Melinoe!

So I knew I was gonna get insanely addicted to Hades 2 but I wasn't expecting to essentially clear it all out a little over a month after it released. Having done so much in the first game it didn't take long for me to get back into the rouge-lite groove and do run after run to progress its story. So naturally that led to me wanting to find cosplayers that portrayed the main antagonist Melinoe. Shiro Cos was someone I came across early on as I was searching throughout Instagram with the game's hashtag attached and man does this look freaking awesome. To kick things off, the 3D files for some of the pieces like her weaponry in ADDITION to the killer shoot location were provided by cosplay collective  The Dangerous Ladies ! Shiro has a short bob cut blonde wig with a small leaf crown placed on top. That crown also has a silver moon symbol placed directly in the middle of it. Testing...1, 2, 3. Let's start this thing!! ^^

Bear with me cause I'm kinda new to the whole blog thing but I figure if anything this first post should serve as an intro to who I am and what this blog will be like!

My name is James and I'm 21 years old. I'm going in the process of transferring to a new school majoring in Graphic Design/Digital Media! My big dream is to get into some form of animation. Oh, and I'm a nerd :).

I've been into video games since I was very little and played the NES at my next door neighbor's house (curse you Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Then I got a Game Boy Color, which kicked off my love for Nintendo (and Pokemon). Fast forward to now and i've gone through the N64, GBA, Nintendo DS, PS2, PSP and currently playing through a Wii and 360 with plans to get 2/3 of the next generation consoles.

Besides gaming I also recently got into comics with now being totally devoted to DC and following 5 series (which i'll get into in another post one day)

Now for a big thing, up until a few years ago I dived into an entertaining hobby known as Cosplay. I've made my own outfits, met the people who inspired me to get into this hobby, and the most important reason for me anyways is that I have made some of the greatest friends in my life. I've made 4 outfits so far and currently waiting for New York Comic Con 2013! I'll get into cosplay more and the people who i've met later on!

Ok, so that's my life with geeky interests in a nutshell. Now to get to what this blog will be about! What you'll see will be game reviews, comic book topics, cosplay photos, cosplayer interviews i've conducted (with a little update if needed since they might seem outdated), and convention experiences. As to who i've interviewed, you'll see familiar names like Monika Lee, Lisa Lou Who, Katie George and hopefully many others!

I do hope you guys will stick around! Writing about what i'm interested in was something i've recently gotten into and loved ever since then. See you guys next time!!
