Cosplay Feature: SKS Props' Orc Warrior

Stephen K Smith is a hugely recognizable name in the cosplay community. Known for his expertise with foam work and massive builds, he's created some truly amazing creations that are on movie level worth of craftsmanship. Today, I wanted to talk about his Orc Warrior (from World of Warcraft) that he created sometime ago. I'm not entirely sure when this cosplay was debuted but regardless, it was AMAZING! Overall, this is a pretty standard look for an Orc in the Warrior class, armor platings and all. They also have the traditional color scheme matching that of Orgrimmar, the main city for the orcs. So this includes red with metal lining/trim around each plate. There's also a variety of horns curved upwards. Mainly these are spotted on the shoulder plates plus the helm.

The two gauntlets look crazy heavy but are probably only moderate due to the foam (which I assume is what most of this cosplay was done with?). Armor plating can be seen directly on top of one hand while the other has a wood like shield for defense. Of course you wouldn't go to war with the Alliance wielding only a shield! Stephen has a one handed axe in the other gauntlet. The design is pretty fantastic and I feel that it's directly from WoW itself. The center piece is decorated with red runes to make a face, it also glows in certain shots!
A massive belt can be seen wrapped around the waist as well! The legs are pretty much covered up thick with boots for each foot. These again have the red armor plating with fur trim up at the top, and spikes protruding outward on one of the plates. Full blown steel plate cover the ends. Being this massive, I imagine Stephen was limited in terms of movement speed. However, the poses really tell a story for this character! Chains can even be seen hanging off of the hands and axe! The Horde symbol can be seen on some of the armor pieces, PLUS the shield has a fierce face design much like the axe does. Check out the other pics I found for this!
