Cosplay Feature: Wumbo's Monoco!

Photo by David Ngo Happy February! I hope you had an amazing start to your new year and that you're excited to learn about the amazing cosplays that are out there for 2026. The cosplay community usually dubs the one-two punch of MAGFest & Katsucon as the kickoff for the convention season. I spent the last month or so gathering cosplays that as of today's date, all stem from the former! I also am insanely excited that many of these I'm about to share are first time write-ups for the creators themselves. Today, you get a look at Wumbo's masterful recreation of known feet lover Monoco from 2025's Game of the Year, Expedition 33! In looking at some of the photo posts on her instagram, she made all of this by herself so I don't have to worry about adding in extra creators who may have assisted with design files etc. Quick backstory, Monoco is the last party member you add to your team who's a longtime friend of Verso and gained a grasp on the English language...

Cosplay Feature: Meisha Mock's Arcanine!

For today I've got a brand new cosplayer along with an incredible gijinka to share with you guys! Meet Meisha Mock and her badass Arcanine from Pokemon! I just so happened to see this pictures on Social Media under photographer Eurobeat Kasumi and the giant axe caught my eye. Upon further looking into things, I was definitely blown away by what Pokemon Meisha was capturing. Arcanine is one of my many favorites since it's just an awesome looking dog...that breathes fire! The concept that Meisha wanted to achieve here is basically a battle ready warrior. Most of the armor pieces have a flame design to them with spikes coming out with a gold tint to them. The top piece along with the waist and parts of the arms have super soft fur which matches the white areas of Arcanine! The arm pieces are bracers that look to fit quite nice and snug for Meisha!

If you can tell by the picture on the left, the cosplay really gets crazy and extravagant in the lower areas. On one side of Meisha is this long drape with a very gorgeous pattern. It looks to be like Arcanine in an ancient design with beads traveling down a bit higher on the fabric. CAN WE ALSO MENTION THE GIANT TAIL? Done with the same material as the other fur areas, it looks amazing and I really can see the love and effort Meisha put into this cosplay. I'm betting that the armor was done with Worbla as well as the Axe. For that, I'm reminded of the crazy weapons Kamui Cosplay made for her Warcraft cosplays.

The charcoal like black accents on the axe really make it pop and it's definitely the stand out piece for this cosplay. Flames cover the axe with some of them dripping down to the blade part. There's also a clear white flame in the middle of it which connects down to the pole. For feet, Meisha went and created fur leg coverings with paws to act as the shoes! Her ears look adorable and the wig is beautiful. White extensions traveling down behind her along with armor hair coverings for her strands! Meisha also added in some make up with flame patterns on her face! I'm completely in love with this cosplay and you all should definitely check out Meisha Mock's FB page which I have a link for down below! Check out these pictures!
