Cosplay Feature: Kels Cosplay's Rumi!

Photo by Raymond Ho One of the biggest crazes to have happened last year was the arrival of K-Pop Demon Hunters on Netflix over the summer. Between the insane visuals and catchy songs, it's no surprise that the characters themselves latched onto so many creators. Of course this led to a cosplay explosion after the film's release which continues on to MAGFest. I figured at some point I'd want to share a Demon Hunters cosplay here soon and Kels Cosplay came in with a fantastic look at Rumi, the band's leader & prime vocalist. Specifically you have the outfit worn during the last act of the film. Kels also looks to have done a slight variation featuring some makeup but I'll get to that later on in the writeup. The first version of the look includes a bedazzled black crop jacket with various golden stripes and accents throughout. You also get to see various gold chains traveling down the jacket.

The Awesome Work of ESKJ Shoes and Art

For today, I've got something different for you guys in terms of a feature! The lovely lady on the left above is Jessica Huard. She's done several cosplays here and there but her real talent lies in making amazing custom shoes for females. It just so happens that majority of her commissions involve nerdy subjects. The shoes are high heel like and include images of characters ranging from various franchises. Zelda, Game of Thrones, Princess Mononoke, Pokemon, pretty much every genre of geek is represented here. I don't exactly know the entire process for each shoe but I imagine they can be different or similar in make. Jessica also has done made bras with one being Mass Effect related with the N7 logo adorned on them!

The shoes Jessica makes definitely look to be high quality and she spends so much time on them. As I mentioned above, Jess also has done several cosplays. The top photo shows her with model Lindsay Tatertot in Team Rocket lingerie (that I think Jess created too!). She's also done a gender bend Dark Link which looks haunting and badass when you take in the scenery that accompanies the pictures.

Other cosplays for Jessica include a Female Geralt from the Witcher and the Snow Bunny skin of Nidalee from League of Legends! The latter cosplay she just recently had a shoot in with other girls including Vicky Lau of Vivid Vision and I can't wait to see pictures from it! The shoes she makes definitely have that high quality look to them! I'm unsure of what else I can say that hasn't already been said so take a look at photos of Jessica's work!
