Cosplay Showcase: Jessica Nigri's Sirfetch'd!
Anyone else here still massively addicted to the new Pokemon Sword and Shield games? Cause I sure am (review coming next week!) and I wanted to keep the hype train going. Today of COURSE I wanted to take a look at Pokemon queen Jessica Nigri and her lovely gijinka of Sirfetch'd, the evolution of Farfetch'd that's exclusive to these new entries! What's even more rad is that this overall design was done up by Jess herself. Already when you take a look at this cosplay, it's just a perfect match in terms of the fighting type's color scheme. Green and white all over with many of the swirly details done in gold. From the top, Jess has a minty green wig that's topped off with a knight helmet. Mostly this is gold in color with the side wings in white! There's also slight colorings of green on the tips here too!
Continuing down, we then see shoulder pauldrons that are really impressive in terms of design and structure. Both have an identical pattern as well as utilizing that classic layered look with a smaller piece hidden underneath the top portion. You also have some resin stones implemented on these pieces too! The chest pieces is super small in size but cute as all heck! The white part almost looks like a bow tie of sorts with green underneath as a base. Gold swirls decorate the center of the plate.
In common female armor tropes, there's ummmm very little in terms of bottom half protection XD. However, these beautiful drapes come off of the waist piece and go down towards the floor. Gold colors are aplenty here from the waist strap to even more swirls. The drapes I mentioned earlier transition from white to a light green in a gradient fashion. For her arms, Jessica has long white sleeves, and super high yellow boots for footwear! Course it wouldn't be a full Sirfetch'd without the weapons!
For these pieces, Jess is wielding a sword shaped up like a leek which is the primary item used by the Pokemon. The blade portion is colored from white at the bottom towards green at the top. The hilt has a flower like design with flaps going down and also in that white/green pattern. The handle is mainly in gold. For the shield, Jess has what looks to be the other half of the leek with a leaf pattern front and center. Various gold swirls decorate the front with some small straps down at the bottom. All of Jessica's poses are super on point for the character, not to mention also how amazing the photos are! They each show off the entire cosplay in a beautiful display :D. Take a look at each of them throughout this feature! Oh and uhhhhh hope you don't mind the extra lewd shot I added in...
