All things considered, Persona 5 is an absolutely fantastic game. One that I and many others enjoyed, not to mention that the cosplays have been such a delight to come out of it. When news spread of an expanded version of the original was coming, of course everyone was hyped. Add in a brand new character and cosplayers flocked over to her like mad. Enter super sweetie Bloodraven and the character Kasumi! Rather than do her normal school uniform, Angel went and created the Phantom Theif outfit she gets at some point in the game. Lots of black is going on here in the cosplay as a whole, with the bright red spots standing out against the mostly dark background/setting. To get more specific, she looks to be wearing a black one piece leotard with a black leather like jacket over it.
It looks like the jacket is more of a tailcoat as Angel's backside has lots of coverage and the jacket has a long end to it. Various studs and buttons decorate the sides as well as her collar. A small loose looking chain belt appears to be wrapped around her waist and leg. Here, you can see an armor piece that has an overall shape of a rose. It's also silver in color! Black boots make up the footwear and you can see some white string wrapped around her thighs. As I mentioned at the top, the red that's part of this cosplay really stands out!
Mainly in the gloves and gorgeous wig that Angel picked out for Kasumi. Some of the other stand out pieces have to be the small mask and sword which serves as the thief's main weapon of choice. The mask is small and black in color with some silver lines added in for design. Likewise, the sword has a mainly white hilt with silver all over the blade. These items were done through 3D printed files and overall finished up by Angel for the cosplay.
The photos that Rudy took are really freaking awesome! The dark background is really suited to the character and I love the small hints of red that can be seen in some of them. Despite it being black on black, the jacket is visible and the wig/gloves work well with the contrast. Not to mention that Angel goes IN on the posing department. Getting a strong sense that she'll be using Kasumi as a character when Persona 5 The Royal releases next year! Check out these other pics I found!
