Cosplay Feature: Laney Feni's Supergirl!

Photo by Maze Studio The last time I shared cosplayer Laney Feni, it was via her amazing Fem Aquaman cosplay she did a few years ago. Originally for today's piece I wanted to gush over how stellar she looks in her Post-Apocalyptic version of Supergirl but that led me to sharing with you another version that's more of the character's classic look. If you were to dive into her cosplay portfolio, Laney has definitely cosplayed Kara Zor-El numerous times but this version draws heavy inspiration in both the design and feel of the old Zack Snyder take on Superman. Between this classic design and the other variant I mentioned earlier, the only difference really boils down to pants and the cape's use. We'll get to that later of course! For starters, Kara's look here consists of a long sleeved tank top like piece and pants with the midriff being shown. I'm pretty sure that this is Laney's natural hair too which really is perfect for Supergirl!

Cosplay Feature: Li Kovacs' Sheikah Link!

Li Kovacs' is no stranger to the Legend of Zelda series, or Nintendo for that matter. On various occasions, she's cosplayed as both the titular hero and princess from the former franchise. Today I'm gonna keep sharing that aspect with Li's cosplay of Link from Breath of the Wild. More specifically, she's donning the Sheikah uniform that's one of many armor sets in the game. With the Sheikah being all about mystery and the shadows, the colors are pretty mute. Dark blues with some white and grey added in. Li's wig is styled perfectly to match what's seen in the game not to mention the added elf ears bring SO MUCH to the character. The outfit consists of a top and some pants, both of which are mainly dark blue. The top piece has the Shiekah emblem front and center in red against a grey backdrop. Bands and arm coverings can be seen throughout her sleeves as well!

Included in this outfit are some armor plating mainly in the shoulders but also on other areas such as Li's arms and legs. These also have the symbol added on but the color scheme is more brown with a gold trim line for the edges. Various studs can be seen as well. Li also has straps around her waist to carry the all important Sheikah slate that you use throughout BotW. As I mentioned earlier, the uniform is supposed to invoke ninja like qualities and silent movement. As such, Li isn't wearing any shoes but rather using the outfit and possibly something smaller/quieter.

Oh man and the end result shots are SOMETHING TO BEHOLD! Li and Peck Photography did a phenomenal transforming her poses and pics to something close to in-game! Oh and you better believe Li used her Master Sword replica in one of the shots! I wasn't able to find many shots but the ones I did do an incredible job at showing the cosplay as a whole <3.
