Cosplay Feature: Shir0gami's Meta Knight!

Photo by RandomBystanderHere As someone who both is a huge fan of Meta Knight as a character in addition to having cosplayed as him years ago, I am ALWAYS gonna shout about any other takes on the famed swordsman. Shir0gami is one such person and created an amazing gijinka of him for this past MAGFest (yep, still on that event!). It's funny how for Shiro, Kirby Air Ride was her first exposure to the character as noted in one of her pinned posts on Instagram. Starting off the cosplay, you have Meta Knight's imposing mask which is the form taken for this cosplay. Shiro has a face mask done perfectly for MK in both the design and grey coloring. The visor slit gives her the ability to see which hopefully she was while in movement. Man, it's hard for me to not compare it to mine years ago and how what I made is vastly inferior to this XD. Cosplay Feature: Petite Ebby Cosplay's Kiki!


The second I saw this cosplay, I was hit with a giant wave of CUTENESS! Petite Ebby Cosplay here did an absolutely fabulous job as Kiki from the popular studio Ghibli film. Immediately you can see that overall the outfit is fairly simple so this might be a short post, I do apologize in advance if that's the case! However I want to first start with the setting/background for the photos. Given the fairly sunny vibe of the film, Ebby sought to recreate it and oh man did she succeed. Most of the shots involve shots of her walking on grass, even one pic being an action shot of sorts with Ebby flying on her broom!

As I mentioned at the start, Ebby's Kiki cosplay is as simple as you can possibly get for a cosplay. A super cute black wig with lots of volume/curves down along the bottom plus a red bow in the middle of said wig! A long and single blue dress covers Ebby from head to toe. She's got several props to carry around such as a large brown satchel and her signature broom. You know, considering she's a witch and all. A small doll/figure of her cat Jiji can be seen poking out of the satchel or held in Ebby's hand in other pics.

Finishing off the cosplay, you've got small red flat shoes in addition to small straps seen around her ankles. Ebby has the perfect facial expression in some of the shots and to me, really captures the joy and innocence of Kiki as seen in the film. Check out the other photos for yourself! :)
