Cosplay Feature: Jess Blaze Cosplay's Lenne!

Shot by Savanyahs Who the HECK is Lenne?!? I always love seeing Jess Blaze Cosplay continue the Final Fantasy rabbit hole she's in with all the cosplays she's done from the franchise. Tackling the mysterious singer from X-2 alongside her friend Kam C Cosplay (as Yuna) felt like a natural next cosplay for her to create. This also wasn't Jess' first foray into the many dress-spheres that the sequel focused on. For the originator of the Songstress job class, there's a whole lot of blue here which you see immediately with the main top piece and arm sleeves. Starting from there, you have essentially a blue vest that has lighter blue frills along the edges. The dress also has differing lengths for each side. One giving off a midriff look whereas the other extends longer past the black skirt.

Cosplay Feature: Spencer Doe as Knuckles the Echidna!

For today's cosplay feature I want to showcase another awesome male cosplayer named Spencer Doe. Spencer alongside his partner in crime Nicole Marie Jean (who has been featured before) is mostly known by his nickname as The God Damned Batman. This is because most of his cosplays are versions of Batman's iconic suit from the Nolan movies to the Arkham games. However rather focusing on Batman I actually want to show off his humanoid version of Knuckles the Echidna from Sonic. Along with Nicole who dressed as Sonic, this cosplay was made for PAX East 2013 and was actually the first time I met them!

Spencer as Knuckles and Nicole as Sonic

The cosplay itself is a one piece red suit in which Spencer looks very muscular. The shoes were messed around to match how they look on Knuckles. I definitely love the way the wig was styled and the added sunglasses was a nice touch. I was anticipating to match with them at that convention with my Shadow gijinka which I had debuted at PAX East but they unfortunately wore them a different day and I had only gotten a pass for one day. The gloves are huge with spikes attached to them and it definitely works!

The poses they both make definitely capture the friendship/rivalry that both Sonic and Knuckles had. I also can tell from their in progress posts on the outfits that they both had a lot of fun making the cosplays and even more fun wearing them! I'm hoping to maybe match with my Shadow one day, just a matter of planning :D. I also plan on interviewing them one day (I PROMISE) as well so fingers crossed! Enjoy the photos I have to share.
