I'm continuing the theme from last week with another of the Pokemon x DnD group that populated Anime Expo back in July! I actually have never shared Stephanie Michelle's work before and she definitely has an extensive portfolio of cosplaying characters. Whether they're from various pieces of work or moreso fit her "bimbo side" that she strongly advertises her work as. It actually took me a second in looking back at the photos I have for this write up to make sure I had the right Pokemon in my head to correctly label. With that intro out of the way, I'm mostly positive that Stephanie here is cosplaying the bug type Butterfree (If I'm wrong I'll make sure this post is updated/corrected!). Looking at the cosplay as a whole it's definitely more on the fabric side with a lot of elements that provide a lot of air flow. Stephanie has a short curly bob style wig that's colored a bright lavender shade. For me, some shots give the wig a Princess Leia vibe to it.

Getting to the main piece, it's a long tabard like piece with a variety of small jewels/gemstones decorating the top portion. A white trim decorates the edge with a small Pokeball placed right in the center. Then, Stephanie has a brown belt tied up around her waist with another Pokeball (slightly larger here) in the middle. This brown belt looks to be done in a chainmail like material upon closer look! Lastly, it drapes down much like the purple piece from the bottom middle of the Pokeball. Towards the bottom, you have various frills and strands of white fabric hanging off.
Full light blue boots make up the footwear with them being the extreme laced up kind. Definitely curious if it was a hassle to put them on when suiting up for the day! The other main part of this cosplay was Stephanie mimicking Butterfree's wings via large arm sleeves. It almost looks like a draped cloak on her back with large enough holes for her arms to slip into. Light blue gloves adorn her hands. Some of the shots I have to share give out pretty solid indicators that they could be two separate sleeves. Once her arms are fully inside/covered, Stephanie has ample room to move her arms freely and really show off the full wingspan that these pieces provide.

I really just love how beautiful this cosplay came out and Stephanie just absolutely nailed the overall look. This take on Butterfree is just stunning and the photos really highlight that. Can't get enough of how bright and vibrant the purple looks in them! Stephanie is one of the hardest working content creators out there that I've seen and I highly recommend you check out her site below to learn more about her, the work she does and all the other spicy things she offers ^_^. Thanks for reading!
