Nothing like opening up the New Year with some....Halloween cosplay? I absolutely fell in love with Kinpatsu Cosplay's cosplay of a Witch look for Princess Peach from the Mario franchise. Concept originally designed by FonteArt! Immediately your eyes are hit with the bright pink that covers pretty much every aspect of the outfit. Kinpatsu has always been one for creating such high quality cosplays and it's no different for Peach! Starting off, you have a blonde wig (I'll get to the hat later on, promise!) which is expertly styled to match Peach's iconic wefts/bangs in the front. A cape is then introduced with a high raised collar and connected with a blue brooch in the center. Gold trims can be seen here as well as throughout the rest of the cosplay. The cape looks to go just about to the end of Kinpatsu's back. Afterwards, you get to the main dress (though the bottom portion makes it more of a skirt).
You'll see a small opening in the chest area followed by a white portion akin to how it's positioned in Peach's original design. This section is fairly short as pink and gold surround it on every end. At the bottom it looks like a pink leotard though that's most likely not the case. The sides surrounding the white soon turn into the skirt I mentioned at the top of this write-up. The skirt pretty much covers the rear area with some white interfacing seen underneath. In fact, the white interfacing is present in all parts of the cosplay.
For the arms and legs, Kinpatsu is wearing sleeves that travel to the ends of them. White gloves are visible for hand coverage as are gold trims and a bracelet on one arm. The legs have platform boots at the end which are separated via gold trim/markings. Quickly going back up to the dress area, the white section has various lines etched in. A belt can be seen wrapped around Kinpatsu's waist too! Now for the hat which is definitely THE stand out piece to this whole cosplay. Overall it's very large in size with the rim having a distinct shape being pointed up so that all you see is white looking directly at her.
The pink is in full force here till you get toe the black strap that separates the top portion and the rim. Here, the iconic Power Star makes an appearance as being placed on the band itself. The tail(?) portion of the hat even has Peach's iconic crown attached as another band. This part then goes into other directions as you get to the very bottom. I'm not entirely sure how this shape was achieved but either way, it matches up PERFECTLY with this design she found. You can actually find out more through her website at the bottom of this post!
