Neen The Kitchen Magician's Paintress!

The Paintress' overall design in Expedition 33 is both fascinating and yet haunting. As the sole force behind vanishing off people every year, she's become one of few antagonists in the game. Course, through the game's lifespan in cosplay, people mostly tackle the main members of the core Expedition. Whether it's in the traditional uniforms, other alternate costumes or the iconic Baguette outfits. So it's been a real treat to see Neen The Kitchen Magician do a phenomenal job in bringing The Paintress to life. The full outfit is black from head to toe. You have a gown like piece at the bottom with it flowing mostly in the back. It does look like both the bottom and top pieces are segmented into like a long sleeve shirt and long pants. But being full pitch black does give some shots a sense that it's all connected. That even includes the face area which one pic does show that yep, Neen is able to see out of it.

Cosplay Feature: Phalafel Cosplay's Golden Lynel!

I had to share Phalafel Cosplay's latest cosplay endeavor cause holy smokes CENTAUR ACTION! Zelda's latest entry brought about a lot of changes to the series that was most welcome by many fans. The enemy design especially was really fantastic, and Phalafel wanted to take one of the more difficult enemies to task. Enter in her Golden Lynel and yep, the horse body is absolutely legit! As you can guess by the name, yellow and gold are part of the outfit with her weapon and the horse section. An impressive white wig decorates her head with some sturdy horns attached to them. These horns are white in color with black edges. The main chest portion is a rad looking breastplate that's silver in color.

The chest piece has small claws peeking out at certain spots in addition to many battle damaged scars. This is repeated on her tabard like piece that's attached via a belt. There's also small bands wrapped around Phalafel's arms. Here's where we get into the horse portion! First glance, it looks like the gold pants have the body attached on the back, so Phalafel must have had an area where she can slip into it. This portion also has feet and white boots added in much like her side of the outfit.

The white boots definitely have a lot of fuzzy action along the bottom. That's not all that Phalafel decided to make for this cosplay. Enter in the massive sword which must be done in a light material for her to wield it that easily! The sword has a loose chain and a gold hilt which slightly goes further in with small circles added in. The blade itself has a very crazy shape with curves and points going in various directions. In some ways, to me it looks like a giant axe more so than a sword.

All the shots look to have been taken in a wide open field and holy smokes does Phalafel look FABULOUS IN THEM! The blue sky in the image above especially works well with the colors of the cosplay itself! Be sure to check out the other photos throughout this whole write up :D.
