It's always a delight seeing Zach Fischer's designs come to life and holy smokes did ArmoredHeart Cosplay do just that. Lots of blue is seen with this Battle Armor Elsa and it really fits together so perfectly. Without getting into the armor, it looks like Kristin has a full blue bodysuit acting as a base. Various shades of blue can be seen in certain areas such as the legs and along her arms (specifically the hands). My best guess was that this was a custom made suit for this design Zach came up with. The wig being a silvery/white shade works so well with the blue. Elsa's iconic ponytail hanging to side is also present here.
One shoulder is seen covered with a piece of pauldron armor. The shape is very flat and has such a smooth curve to it. Design wise, it looks to be split evenly with blue and white stone pieces. Directly underneath this piece is a silver arm bracer with some blue stones added in. Traveling down the arm you get another silver bracer and the exact same pauldron acting as a hand cover. The stones here are split between blue and a lighter shade to represent ice. The coloring really hammers home the ice powers that Elsa wields.
The other shoulder is completely bare save the gorgeous cape that's attached. An arm bracer much like on the other arm can be seen here too! The cape is also considerably long, traveling to just about the bottom of the cosplay. The chest piece is done in silver with some ornate detailing/lines traveling through it. Once you get to the belt, you'll see the blue take up front and center with a stone dead set in the middle. From that same point, you have a tabard like piece traveling down. Here, I absolutely LOVE the patterning. Really does give off a stained glass kind of look to it.
The leg armor pieces are exactly the same being silver in color with some blue spots filling in some of the holes. Towards the top, you have that stone look that I mentioned early on in this post. Blue on the bottom with white at the top! The shoes look to be heels and are armored up for whatever fight Kristin is gonna charge into. Also, I can't end this post without mentioning the BADASS SWORD SHE HAS AS A PROP. The weapon is full on broadsword in the design. Starting from the bottom, you've got a pure blue hilt with the guard being decorated fully in blue, light blue and white stones. Then the blade has this weird design with several stones inserted as you travel up. As you get towards the top, the blade becomes more traditional/blank.
CAN WE ALSO TALK ABOUT THE PHOTOS CAUSE GOOD GOD MAN! The scenery certainly looks chilly and Kristin is seen looking out stone windows, standing in alleyways along with posing along the stairwell in one location. Seriously this cosplay has me in absolute awe, check out the other pics I found ^_^
