Cosplay Feature: RiderCGA's King Daredevil!

The combination of being snowed in from the blizzard this past week PLUS being hooked hard into Cyberpunk 2077 made this post about a day late. Apologies for the delay but let's get started! I came across RiderCGA's awesome Daredevil during my collection of MAGFest pics so this is probably the last one for that specific convention. As you'll see from the images I found, Rider has a really awesome look/take on the Man Without Fear. Further research indicates that this is known as King Daredevil and is the title Matt Murdock took during a run back in 2022! Starting from the top, you can see a lot of red and black went into this look for the character. The top includes a red hood that hides just about the top of the mask the character is well known for. Small peek at the horns too!

Other shots show Rider without the hood up and instead donning Matt's signature red circular glasses. Getting past the face area, you have twin red shoulder pieces that go into a long black shirt. It looks like this serves as the base since the middle section/chest is full on red with the double D emblem in black. I love how this piece has some cel-shading effects added in to give off that muscular look. Getting all the way up to the hands, you have a variety of black and red wraps before you get to the Billy Club weaponry or even the blind cane as you can see in the image on the left. Around Rider's waist, you can see a couple of red pouches as well.

I wasn't able to get any images that show off the footwear but judging by the pants, I have to guess that other red padding is involved with the main pants being black. Also serving as a base much like the shirt is. If you go look through Rider's Instagram, you'll find images of this cosplay that go into great detail of where each piece distinctly came from. Whether it was a commissioned prop piece, or a design file for the cosplay overall. Rider did a fantastic job at bringing each element together to create a badass cosplay.

I love the added touch of fake blood that was used in some of the shots I saw of this cosplay too! If you want to find more of Rider's work, be sure to check out his LinkTree down below! Thanks for reading :)
