Struck First gives you a first look at a cosplay just as it's been debuted/had its first photoshoot. Cosplayers have been kind enough to let me have a first crack at analyzing the cosplay by providing me with brand new pictures.
Getting to know Bridget (aka OfficialGothBarbie) over on Instagram has been such an uplifting time ever since I found her Mercy cosplay. For one of her past cons in Australia, Bridget alongside her S/O decided to cosplay as Triss Merigold from The Witcher series. At this time frame, the franchise was seeing a surge in popularity thanks to the recently launched Netflix show. The end result is truly something beautiful, looking at the images always had my jaw drop due to Bridget's immense beauty. Starting from the top, Bridget has an amazingly bright red wig with a few braids on the front. The style is mainly wrapped up in a bun of sorts as well. Then you have a small gold head piece/crown placed on her forehead. The bulk of the cosplay comes down to this overflowing and beautiful green dress with a ton of gold accents/patterns.

There's a gold neckpiece shortly after before getting down to the dress. What you'll see is that green gown/dress opened up at the chest area. Going outward to the side you'll have major gold patterns going all the way down with the main green portion peeking out every now and then. As you travel outwards even more, you get the gold trim in a much thinner line. There's a huge curve going down the dress if you start up at the start of the dress. Bridget's sleeves have a puffed up look over on her shoulders and some jewelry wrapped around the ends before you get down to the sleeves. There's also some images which give off a look at the insides of the dress. Here, you've got the bright red color similar to Bridget's wig. Gold trim is even on the inside towards the very edge.
The above image does a fantastic job showing the breadth of the gown and outfit. Makeup wise, Bridget did a fantastic job with her eyes. Various small sashes can be seen around the waist area, Her sleeves are full blown gold in color with an even sharper shade being wrapped around them in various patterns. Footwear consists of fancy sandals so I can imagine (or hope) that these provided some comfort for her as she was walking around the convention. The outdoor shots are truly something else and the duo shots of her and her Geralt are just so dang awesome! I really hope you guys enjoy the other pics I picked out :)
