STRUCK FIRST: Oshley Cosplay as McCree!

Struck First gives you a first look at a cosplay just as it's been debuted/had its first photoshoot. Cosplayers have been kind enough to let me have a first crack at analyzing the cosplay by providing me with brand new pictures.
One individual that always stuns me with her beyond intense builds for BlizzCon is Ashley Oshley. Last time I shared her work was with her incredible cosplay of Varian Wrynn she wore for a previous BlizzCon. This year, she shared her love of the gun toting cowboy McCree from Overwatch. This is certainly a genderbend but in a way that really stays true to the character in the game. The base of this cosplay features various fabrics in that dark red/brown color scheme with some blacks here and there. Really though it's what's laid on top that stands out but we'll get to that eventually. Starting from the top, Ashley has this perfectly sized cowboy hat that's decorated with the Overwatch emblem and various bullet shells across the rim of the hat. Her wig is of a deep brown shade and has lots of waves within. Some shots have Ashley cheekily rocking a fake cigar as she points her gun and poses around. Quick thing to note is that some of the stuff I'll be typing will be taken directly from her Twitter as she documented the cosplay making process on there along with her other social media platforms.
You've got one arm consisting of a single light brown leather glove whereas the other one is a full on bionic arm. Right after Ashley's wig, we see McCree's long red afghan scarf. You got some orange patterns and some small shapes in a tan shade in there as well. Online, she stated that this wasn't really on securely and more-so just thrown over her shoulder! The main breastplate is where it gets more technical in style. A muted shade of gold with some light blue inserts, pipes and silver decorate it up. There's also wiring involved to make this and other pieces light up :O.
It seems that Ashley was relatively comfortable wearing the breastplate the day this was worn. She notes that craft foam and Worbla was used in its construction. Some items like the grenades on her belt, emblem and bullets on the hat were 3D printed for Ashley by her friend Stoof. The Revolver prop is also beautifully crafted and was probably 3D printed as well. None of the shots I have give a good solid look at Ashley's boots but you better believe they're there and she made them!
Some of the shots were taken in the con center and allowed for the lights to shine within her cosplay. Honestly Ashley never ceases to amaze me and she did an absolutely STELLAR job on this whole cosplay. From the armored pieces, to the hat and everything in-between. Check out these other shots I picked out as I hope one day to meet this CUTIE <3.
