Cosplay Feature: Wumbo's Monoco!

Photo by David Ngo Happy February! I hope you had an amazing start to your new year and that you're excited to learn about the amazing cosplays that are out there for 2026. The cosplay community usually dubs the one-two punch of MAGFest & Katsucon as the kickoff for the convention season. I spent the last month or so gathering cosplays that as of today's date, all stem from the former! I also am insanely excited that many of these I'm about to share are first time write-ups for the creators themselves. Today, you get a look at Wumbo's masterful recreation of known feet lover Monoco from 2025's Game of the Year, Expedition 33! In looking at some of the photo posts on her instagram, she made all of this by herself so I don't have to worry about adding in extra creators who may have assisted with design files etc. Quick backstory, Monoco is the last party member you add to your team who's a longtime friend of Verso and gained a grasp on the English language...

Cosplay Feature: MissBriSolo's Angela!

When I shared off MissBriSolo's work last month, it was hot on the heels of her just finishing her cosplay of Angela based on the character's Marvel Rivals design. At the time, she was the latest character added in with the new season and man was I stoked to see Bri's finished look on the character. Not just on the fact that Angela was poised to fit the Vanguard/Tank role, but Bri herself has done some insane work with fitness. Thus she felt this was an awesome opportunity to show off her work in the cosplay. Angela as a character was repurposed/retconned to be part of Thor's family after originally appearing in the Spawn comics back in the 90s. There's your quick history lesson, let's jump into the cosplay! Starting off, Bri has a head-guard at the very top that looks much like a crown. Wings extend outward on each side and it travels down the face slightly. Then Bri has a gorgeous orange/red wig for her hair.
You'll notice that her head gear is done out of a material I can only guess to be either EVA foam or Worbla. The gold coloring is replicated in various parts of the cosplay including the chest piece, a full arm and the massive spear. We'll get to that in a bit but just wanted to reference the similar material and overall makeup of each piece. Bri's neck piece looks to be two loops layered close together and colored fully in silver. All throughout these loops are X and O markings.

This loop is repeated around one of Bri's arms which then extends over to the massive battle spear that she constructed. Can I just say how freaking badass this is? You have the aforementioned loops and the spear being a straight shot all the way down. It's really the top portion that has action in the form of an inverse trident like setup. Then the other arm is fully decked out in gold plated armor with a wing extending outward towards the very top. In each of these gold armor pieces, Bri did an amazing job adding in lines and other small design details.

Then there's the makeup which she also excelled in. From the markings around her eyes, to the battle scar on the stomach area and even the full dirt like markings on one of her legs. For pants-wear, Bri looks to have some brown shorts as a base with some overlapping belts wrapped around. Then directly in the middle you have several brown straps hanging downward with gold studs on each one's end. The photos I have of the cosplay give a small peek in addition to Bri's golden boots. Here you can also see wings extending at the top. There's videos Bri shared of the cosplay in motion so you can see everything in its full glory.

I really do want to commend Bri's incredible commitment to both her fitness journey and this insane build. She's been a huge fitness inspiration to me and the speed at which she can crank out these cosplays is awe-inspiring. If you haven't looked at her work yet, please fix that by checking out her Instagram down below!
