Cosplay Feature: Renee4Atlanta's Ironheart!

Happy Halloween to you all! To end this month of features, I wanted to share this INCREDIBLE work by Renee4Atlanta that she helped create and wore at this past Dragon*Con not too long ago. Coming off of Ironheart's debut series, Renee took on the task to recreate the updated look and man is it intense! When you look at the photos, you can first find that of course Renee has a more comfy layer of clothing which the armor pieces are layered on top. From the top, Renee has the iconic Iron Man helmet which is colored red for the outer shell and the mask being a shiny silver shade. From the photos I did find, I don't know if the mask can actually come down or if Renee made this to showcase an open look. Getting down to the rest, you can see how some of the armor is segmented off/layered. Red looks to make up a good chunk of the outer layer whereas the inner portions are silver.

Cosplay Feature: Hailie Bastet's Black Cat!

This has to be one of the first cosplays I saw of Hailie Bastet's work that made me want to continue in following her cosplay/model journey. While Black Cat is more on the simple side in terms of her costume design, it was the photos that added so much more to the overall cosplay. With Hailie being based in New York, this really was the perfect backdrop for the finalized photos. For starters, Hailie has a long white haired wig that doesn't travel too far down from the back. I love how in some of the photos the hair is positioned in a way to really show off some of the curls down at the end. She's also rocking Black Cat's classic face mask in addition to a black collar/choker around her neck. The bodysuit portion soon starts with the upper collar being covered in a fur lining.

The zipper can be seen up towards the top once you go past the fur. But almost immediately, the zipper becomes hidden with a black corset being placed directly on top of the suit. Here, the corset has four silver clasps throughout its entirety with some small belts towards the sides at the bottom. Quickly jumping back up, the fur motif is repeated for both Hailie's gloves and boots. They start off both pieces before you get into the full white. The gloves and boots look to have a latex shine to them and small claw clippings can be seen attached to each of Hailie's fingers.

The fur section for her boots is a bit shorter in length when comparing them to the gloves. After that, you have white boots with an added heel to them in the back. There's really not much else in regards to the costume itself but Hailie really brings it with the posing. Also having the photos taken on top of a New York city rooftop is just pure icing on the cake. Almost like Black Cat herself is on a little thieving journey. I really love how some of the buildings in the back look even if they appear out of focus!

I've really been enjoying seeing Hailie create new cosplays and would urge you guys to go follow her stuff through the Linktree link below. I'm hoping maybe someday we can get together and record a podcast episode together. Thanks for reading today, apologies if it was a little short! :)
