Cosplay Feature: Kels Cosplay's Rumi!

Photo by Raymond Ho One of the biggest crazes to have happened last year was the arrival of K-Pop Demon Hunters on Netflix over the summer. Between the insane visuals and catchy songs, it's no surprise that the characters themselves latched onto so many creators. Of course this led to a cosplay explosion after the film's release which continues on to MAGFest. I figured at some point I'd want to share a Demon Hunters cosplay here soon and Kels Cosplay came in with a fantastic look at Rumi, the band's leader & prime vocalist. Specifically you have the outfit worn during the last act of the film. Kels also looks to have done a slight variation featuring some makeup but I'll get to that later on in the writeup. The first version of the look includes a bedazzled black crop jacket with various golden stripes and accents throughout. You also get to see various gold chains traveling down the jacket.

Cosplay Feature: Renee4Atlanta's Ironheart!

Happy Halloween to you all! To end this month of features, I wanted to share this INCREDIBLE work by Renee4Atlanta that she helped create and wore at this past Dragon*Con not too long ago. Coming off of Ironheart's debut series, Renee took on the task to recreate the updated look and man is it intense! When you look at the photos, you can first find that of course Renee has a more comfy layer of clothing which the armor pieces are layered on top. From the top, Renee has the iconic Iron Man helmet which is colored red for the outer shell and the mask being a shiny silver shade. From the photos I did find, I don't know if the mask can actually come down or if Renee made this to showcase an open look. Getting down to the rest, you can see how some of the armor is segmented off/layered. Red looks to make up a good chunk of the outer layer whereas the inner portions are silver.

The chest piece also has some blue line added in to the dead center. The shoulder pieces also have a setup with back pieces directly behind it that look to be the thrusters that Riri adds for this model. You also have a tube that seems to be attached to the hip and connects to one of the arms. Said arm is pretty much armed with a heavy duty blaster whereas the other is more normal/Iron Man like (sorry if I say that phrase a lot!) The weaponized arm looks like it's a rail gun rather than a cannon and has a make-up of silver and black. Jumping back to the main chest piece, you have a small black section that has fantastic pattern added into it.

When you get past the belt area you can see a portion of the first layer I mentioned up at the top. Both of the legs are identical and look super bulky in design too. Not to mention also the separation of these pieces as well. Black takes a more frontal view here with various indents/holes filled in black with the red surrounding it plus silver additions/accents. In some of the shots, you can see that Renee utilized buckles/fasteners to connect pieces together. I feel like this is such a smart move and can help with both removal and suiting up. As I'm typing this up, I learned that yes, the mask can come down and be pressed in plus Renee worked with RealAwesomeWorkz25 for the overall suit construction. Talk about teamwork! :D Check out these other photos I found!
