Cosplay Feature: Kay Bear Cosplay's Rouge the Bat!

There's just something about Kay Bear Cosplay where she just emanates so much beauty in any sort of shoot she participates in. Cosplay, lingerie, you name it and Kay just looks stunning! Today, I wanted to share her Rouge the Bat cosplay from the Sonic franchise. As the infamous thief, Kay brings a playful side to the character mostly with the poses and facial expressions she makes in the pictures I found online. Plus, the cosplay overall looks simple and comfy so I imagine this wasn't a huge issue wearing for long periods of time. For starters, I LOVE the wig Kay has up at the top. It's a cute style going down to her shoulders and has a lot of waves added on to it. The ears being added up at the top is such a perfect addition to it too! The name of the game color wise is a whole lot of pink and white which you'll see in both the arm sleeves & boots but I'll get to those in a bit!

Cosplay Feature: ZeldaMomo's Cissnei!

Anyone still on that Final Fantasy VII high from Rebirth's release earlier this year? Then this write up is for you! On recommendation from one of my cosplay/streamer friends, I've got ZeldaMomo really looking sharp as Cissnei from the greater FF7 universe (guess I'm calling it that now). The cosplay itself may look relatively simple but it's the finalized shots plus the prop & poses that really sell the whole creation for me. Like the others in Shinra's Turks division, Zelda's rocking a full black & white suit complete with tie & jacket. In addition, she's also donning black gloves which as far as I know is only worn by Tseng in addition to Cissnei. For the footwear, you got small black dress boots that look to have a soft top texture as opposed to the typical gloss/shiny style that most black shoes consists of.
What's arguably the standouts to the outfit are the hair & weapon choice. I pretty much feel comfortable in saying that those two elements are key to every Turks member. It's how each one is defined on top of their personality. So for Cissnei, you have a long orange/red wig that goes to just about her shoulders. Weapon wise you have a simpler chakram design (this is me straight up comparing it to Axel's more well-known weapon from Kingdom Hearts) with four points in each direction. More so here am I reminder of the weapon's compass like design. Red and grey make up the color scheme with each tip/end being more of the former. From Zelda's portfolio site, the weapon was made from a frisbee, wooden dowels & foam!

Multiple grey spokes extend out on the inner circle before reaching red & then grey. I mentioned at the start that the posing and finished shots of the cosplay really wowed me. The fire sparks added in on some of the shots really elevate each one that they reside in. Not to mention the building backdrop is perfect, totally can imagine it being Shinra's HQ itself. I'm curious as to which convention this cosplay was debuted at in 2022 given where Zelda is based in.

All Shots taken by Raph!

I'm excited to have found Zelda's work and even just going through her body of cosplays, knowing she enjoys Final Fantasy (even some KH in there!), I just am so ecstatic to see what she's able to cosplay from next. I highly recommend you all check out her website to get a full deep dive into each cosplay not to mention her other avenues of content creation like streaming etc. Low key wish more cosplayers had a website done of this caliber hahaha.
