I've got quite a cutie to share for today! As I've mentioned multiple times over the course of this blog's publication, I'll have certain points of finding brand new cosplayers to fangirl over in a span of a day or two! Meryl Sama is one such gal and her Quiet from Metal Gear Solid V was something I wanted to kick off her work with. As famously noted by Hideo Kojima, the outfit in question for Quiet was pretty sexual in nature and I believe that was the intent. Quiet herself is a highly trained sniper and honestly with that explanation, I don't know if I can come up with a reasonable reason as to why she's dressed this way. I recall there being something about how she breathes through her skin and being clothed up is very dangerous for her. So, Meryl pretty much captured her character here wonderfully.
You could say that Meryl is basically rocking a two-piece black bikini with multiple army like elements added in. For example, the main standout are the suspenders that travel all the way down to her belt. Army green is the main color here. Alongside the belt are canisters that are meant to resemble grenades/molotov cocktails. Both of Meryl's arms are covered with gloves of varying lengths. She also has a beautiful brown wig done up in a ponytail. Pouches can also be seen on both sides of her belt along the waist. The bikini was also altered from several existing ones to achieve the look!
The small top view of the bottom bikini piece from the belt honestly does a lot in terms of Quiet's inherent sex appeal. The leggings have various holes on them and definitely look comfortable. Hell the cosplay as a whole is very minimal so of course it'd be comfy XD. Weapon props include a small pistol and of course Quiet's signature rifle. The scenery is all outdoors in very forest like areas. Some of the shots and edits of them look absolutely killer too! Check them out down below!
