Cosplay Feature: Gray Oranges' Rikku!

Photo by David Ngo I won't ever shy away from writing about cosplays of Rikku's look from Final Fantasy X-2 and Gray Orange did a fantastic job portraying her in both the overall cosplay look PLUS the pose work. Of course I'll get to all that in due time but let's start at the top! It's certainly a cosplay worn for several events and I want to say I first saw this in the overall collection of MAGFest photos back in January of this year. I really love how the multiple braid strands are integrated into the blonde wig for starters. I can't tell if they're either part of the wig itself or the blue headband that's wrapped around. In any case, following this is a red scarf wrapped around Irini's neck before you then get to the yellow bikini top. Here, you can also see orange trim lines as part of the piece. Oh, I forgot to mention that the red scarf actually travels all the way down to her legs. These end points then transition to a yellow/orange gradient!

Cosplay Showcase: MoodyMynx's Panther!


I first found MoodyMynx through the sharing of her GORGEOUSLY ON POINT STARFIRE so duh I had to find an outfit with enough shots to talk about! Luckily she also did a shoot as my Persona 5 waifu Ann/Panther so that wasn't a difficult choice to make. It did take awhile with finding a good number of pics to share. In any case, I've got to gush about how amazing Mynx looks in this cosplay. As expected from previous Panther cosplays shared here, you've got the long twin pigtail wig which looks a bit more on the darker/dirty blonde side. It works for the way the photos look! Resting on top of the wig is Ann's signature mask done in a beautiful shade of red. The full on latex suit is the same color but of a much brighter hue. To contrast this, you've got the zipper lines in a dark gray tone. It's the posing though that has me fangirling cause Mynx works it so well <3.

The shot you see on the left gives a stellar view of the long pink gloves, parts of her whip AND the tail sticking out from the back. The Power Girl esque chest window is also on point XD. Mynx also plays to the seductive look that Ann naturally has so some shots may be a bit cheekier than others. There's your warning! I imagine this cosplay wouldn't be comfy to wear for long periods of time at a con unless the weather was relatively cool.

MoodyMynx also just has the cutest smile, had to point that out <3. Whether or not the cosplay was bought or made, she looks absolutely stellar in these shots (possibly all taken by her). Hopefully you'll all agree down below :D
