Cosplay Feature: Gray Oranges' Rikku!

Photo by David Ngo I won't ever shy away from writing about cosplays of Rikku's look from Final Fantasy X-2 and Gray Orange did a fantastic job portraying her in both the overall cosplay look PLUS the pose work. Of course I'll get to all that in due time but let's start at the top! It's certainly a cosplay worn for several events and I want to say I first saw this in the overall collection of MAGFest photos back in January of this year. I really love how the multiple braid strands are integrated into the blonde wig for starters. I can't tell if they're either part of the wig itself or the blue headband that's wrapped around. In any case, following this is a red scarf wrapped around Irini's neck before you then get to the yellow bikini top. Here, you can also see orange trim lines as part of the piece. Oh, I forgot to mention that the red scarf actually travels all the way down to her legs. These end points then transition to a yellow/orange gradient!

Cosplay Feature: Katyuska Moonfox as Terra Branford!


It's definitely been awhile since I last featured waifu Katyuska Moonfox in a post here for you guys. With the 2 of us planning out an interview, I wanted to show off a really gorgeous outfit she debuted sometime last year (if memory serves).  As n9ted if you follow Katyuska in any capacity,  she really loves Final Fantasy. Doing this Sakizou like form of Terra from FF6 just seemed like a no brainer to her. The entry in the franchise must be one of her favorites if she's done this in that case. Unfortunately I've only got 2 pictures so gonna try to make most of what I got! ONWARDS TO FANGIRLING!

Katyuska's Terra cosplay here is very frilly/skimpy with a small crop top and shorts. The top is a mish mash of fabrics in pastel colors which match Terra's color scheme. The top even seems to come up over her shoulders with pink frills. Speaking of which, frills is the name of the game with this cosplay. It's also present in the shorts with Kats hips having pink fabric coming down off a frill in a skirt like manner. Various pieces of green, red and yellow fabric can be seen throughout the cosplay.


Katyuska is also rocking white stockings with a blue stripe trim on each of them. The shoes look to be red with part of them being pink with blue stones on top of it. Traveling back up to the hair, Kat has fabric coming off of the gorgeously mint green wig. This again is red/yellow in nature. Adding in also a small gold colored tiara with red gems outlining the front. Kat also has long sleeves in red with a pink frill on one end and gold bands on both ends too!

The pics I have are truly beautiful. Both Katyuska and John make magic together and I'm never disappointed by the end result. I hope you guys aren't either! Katyuska's top is white in its base form with all the added parts. The shorts have multple bands of fabric in colors like pink and gold with blue stones much like her shoes. A Moogle plush can be seen as the chosen prop which adds even more cute to the finished pics. I adore the cosplay overall as I do with any Katyuska Moonfox cosplay :).
