Cosplay Feature: Gray Oranges' Rikku!

Photo by David Ngo I won't ever shy away from writing about cosplays of Rikku's look from Final Fantasy X-2 and Gray Orange did a fantastic job portraying her in both the overall cosplay look PLUS the pose work. Of course I'll get to all that in due time but let's start at the top! It's certainly a cosplay worn for several events and I want to say I first saw this in the overall collection of MAGFest photos back in January of this year. I really love how the multiple braid strands are integrated into the blonde wig for starters. I can't tell if they're either part of the wig itself or the blue headband that's wrapped around. In any case, following this is a red scarf wrapped around Irini's neck before you then get to the yellow bikini top. Here, you can also see orange trim lines as part of the piece. Oh, I forgot to mention that the red scarf actually travels all the way down to her legs. These end points then transition to a yellow/orange gradient!

Cosplay Feature: Gemgem Cosplay's Sylveon!

Must feature...ALL THE AUSTRALIAN PEOPLES :D. Here I have the ever so lovely Gemgem Cosplay in her Sylveon gijinka from Pokemon! Gem is based in the same area as fellow cosplayer Kayla Erin and both of these girls are pretty much inseparable. To the point where I've officially dubbed them as one of my OTP's <3. I had originally thought that Gem's Sylveon was done to be a part of the Eeveelution Bikini group that Kayla had taken a part of in this past Supanova Expo over in Gold Coast. It doesn't seem like it since the group had another Sylveon BUT that doesn't mean that Gem's gijinka was any good. Quite the contrary, she looks absolutely adorable and I feel that it fits her personality very well. The cosplay itself consists of mainly a white dress with pink lace/frills outlining the bottom areas.

Along the dress are cute little straps with a pink circle to connect the skirt to the dress. There's also the bow that Gem has placed center on her chest which matches in terms of Sylveon's colors. Those of course being pink and light blue. Matching the bow is a semi bow (that's what it looks like to me) for her hair that's layered underneath one of the ears. The ears themselves are a pink outline with a blue inside part. For the wig, Gem has this beautiful long pink with that has ends extends on both sides of her head.

The poses Gem makes pretty much capture Sylveon's cute nature. From her smile (which I love) to how she positions her body both laying down and standing up. The scenery for these pictures are also gorgeous! I really hope you guys enjoy what I have to share with you from Gem herself :D.
